Cranberry Pear Sauce

    In a sauce pan combine all ingredients except sweetener. Bring to a simmer over medium heat. Continue cooking for 10 minutes uncovered until cranberry skins pop and mixture starts to thicken. Add sweetener to taste.


    2 cup cranberries, fresh or frozen
    1 apple, finely chopped
    2 ripe pears, finely chopped
    1 teaspoon grated orange rind
    1 teaspoon cinnamon
    1 cup orange juice concentrate
    1 cup raw sugar or sweetener of choice (optional)
