Nice friendly little place - Edit
I think it was the owner that waited on us. She was so friendly and easy to talk to. I asked some questions about things to do in Bangkok and she was very helpful.
Read moreThere is a wide selection of mostly American dishes. We had the pizza and a curry dish. Very good. The place is very clean and cozy with lots of American style decorations. I would go back there.

Moderate but expensive food - Edit
The Café is quite nice but super small (they say they have two Levels, I was only in the First). Many options, but very expensive, I Never paid so much in Thailand for one Dinner.
Read moreThe food was moderate, I have tried two Starters and a Main.
Staff is very helpful but Not as friendly as one is used to in Thailand.

Nice vibe - Edit
The cafe is cute and it's a lovely story. I found it to be quite expensive for what it is though which is a shame that being said you could probably share the sandwich between 2 people! I wished the sandwich had a bit more flavor but appreciated they brought some sauces and salt/pepper.

Amazing vegan breakfast café, if a bit expensive. - Edit
We had the breakfast club which came with delicious potatoes. The meals were really good and a nice break after 3 weeks of asian cheap eats.
Read moreThe owner was friendly, and the vibe of the place was chill.
Just be warned that our meals were 350 BTH each, although portions and the taste were very satisfying. All-in-all, a cool café with delicious western style vegan breakfast worth every penny.
They had plenty of other options, so you should likely find something that tickles your fancy.
Pros: Slow food vegan Cafe with a vibe., Delicious western vegan breakfast., Friendly owners.
Cons: Pricey

I visited here once during January 2020. I tried the pizza, and chips and salsa. Both dishes were very satisfying. The restaurant was very cozy and the staff members were kind. #Veganuary

Comfy place and comfy food - Edit
We had the club sandwich which I very much recommend and the curry. This place feels so nice and cozy. Also, if you're a runner definitely stop by because you will love the owners story of running across the USA, which is showcased in the decor.

Special vibe - Edit
Very small place, feels like someone’s home that I got invited in for a meal. Small dining area on the second floor is absolutely gorgeous. Food felt very clean, healthy and flavorful. Kind of a fusion menu of Thai, Japanese and Western. The owner/chef has a super interesting story.

Such a great cafe - Edit
Where do I start with how cool this place is? The extensive menu? The delicious food? The interesting and chill space? The super friendly and engaging owner? We had a bit of bad luck on our first attempt to come here. We turned up and there was a sign in the door saying they were closed for the day. Of all the days 😞 🙄. Anyhooo, we came back the next day and were greeted warmly and seated upstairs. It was tough deciding what to order from the huge menu but we settled on the club sandwich and a pizza with the lot. First we had smoothies, the mango special and the green smoothie: very refreshing. The mains arrived with sides of fried potato, which was a bit different from what I was expecting but nice all the same. All the food was delicious and portions were generous. It was relaxing sitting in the pleasant space, which we had to ourselves. I’d be back here regularly if I lived in Bangkok.

I came here 3 times during my stay in Bangkok. If you‘ve had enough of thai food and crave something different come here! I tried the vegan club sandwich, the english breakfast, the cheeseburger and some of the juices and smoothies. everything was outstanding! especially the club sandwich! it is a quiet, chill place and nice to get a break from the hustle and bustle of BKK. please support this place!

Great times! - Edit
We ate here on our first night in Bangkok, it was very close to our hotel.
Read moreThe staff were very friendly and helpful, we also asked some Thai phrases to help us with our travels.
The food was delicious, I had the BLT and my friend had the burger. The portion size was massive and I had a little to take back to the hotel.
I'd highly recommend eating here 😊

Really really tasty & welcoming - Edit
The japanese couple that runs this place is really welcoming and attentive. When I saw the prices on the menu I was quite shocked.... but still ordered something as the owners were so welcoming to me. Didn't regret it at all. We spoke a bit, also about the coconut whipped cream being empty. She excused for it and said I'd miss out on it a lot, actually. My waffle was absolutely amazing and incredibly filling, I didn't expect this. So tasty and wholesome. Also, they gave me a discount for the whipped cream lacking and water was for free. Really recommend, but avoid if you're on a budget.

The very best - Edit
We have been going to Bonitas for 8 years. It feels like home every time we step in through the door. Neung and family are lovely, welcoming and kind. We love the cats and animal caring nature. There is a great menu, my favourite it the Club Sandwich, Hot Dog or Vegan Breakfast. Banana and soy shake is delicious, good English Breakfast Tea as well. So much more to choose from! Oh, and the German potato and edamame are just delicious. There is no place like Bonitas in Bangkok, authentic and homely Vegan food.

Ok - Edit
Was hyped to visit with all the reviews but wasn’t too excited about most of the options. I went with a Japanese curry figuring it would be amazing, but it was just average. The prices here are very high compared to other restaurants. The best part is the unique theme and story. When I went, however, it was empty and the owners weren’t too friendly.

Went for Thai - Edit
I know it’s known as breakfast place, but I wanted to try their vegan Thai salad Nam Tok
Read moreWhich comes with vegan meat, Isan ~ Nothern Thai dressing, made of ground roasted rice, chilies, garlic, mint, shallots, spring onions, lime, soy sauce, coconut syrup, served with brown rice. It wasn’t spicy, but very flavorful and I can highly recommend it
You’ll get some more seasoning like salt, pepper, chili sauce with it as well.
The papaya salad was good - not the best I have had. Would not recommend the dessert - cheesecake is not sweetened and tastes bland
Overall full stars for the friendly service, lovely spot and the vegan Nam Tok.
Pros: Nam Tok, Cute interior and friendly , Fully vegan
Cons: Cheesecake
