Nice flavours, not warm setting, friendly staff

I ended up here because my first choice didn’t have any vegan desserts. It was 15 minutes prior the closing time and the staff was still welcoming and friendly. I took the cruffin with pistachio and raspberry (nice combination), the one filled with hazelnut cream (very nice) and a espresso (not particularly good I think). The seating space was scarce but I think it’s on purpose. The setting in general felt a bit cold in contrast with the relaxing atmosphere set by the staff. It was almost empty.

Pros: Hazelnut cream pastry

Cons: Not warm setting

great place and delicious pastries! the only con is that there might be a long waiting time due to the queue, but this is just a proof of the quality. great that they have both sweet and savoury options!

No refined-sugar-free pastries

Disappointed to find nothing without refined sugar. Cane sugar in a couple of items was the nearest to it.

Pros: Impressive at what they do.

Cons: Nothing free of refined sugar.

Simply lovely

An incredible bakery with lots of great vegan treats.

The pistachio cruffin and pistachio paste were our favourites. If you leave outside of the EU and you can bring the paste home with you, defiantly do it!!

Pros: Pistachio Paste

Expected to be better

We saw a lot of good reviews about this place and when arriving there also were people in the line waiting even outside. That as well made us think it should be really good then. But honestly we have had much better vegan pastry than this. Sure it was fine but taste wasn't as good as we expected and also they were a bit dried out so probably they were from a day before. We appreciate though that it's all vegan. But wouldn't say it was worth the hype.

Worth the trip to Amsterdam

I had a lot of luck because there was no que. Ordered their famous Cruffin and this is indeed a very tasty snack: Croissant-like dough - crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside and a filling of pistachio, blueberry and frangipane!

Best sandwich ever

On our first day of our trip to Amsterdam we visited and had the beetroot, wasabi mayo and ‘feta’ sandwich and it was so good that I went back multiple times! I’ve even tried to replicate it since! All pastries and food from here was delicious and definitely should be top of your list.

Not worth it

I queued on a busy Saturday for 30 minutes or so to try the pastries. The line wasn't that long, but the service moved at a glacial pace. The pastries I tried were fine, but absolutely not worth the wait or the price.

Delicious!

This place is well worth the hype! We popped in at about 10 am and luckily there wasn't a queue. The pastries are huge (about the size of your head!) and delicious, especially when washed down with an oat latte. Staff were really nice and quick to clean tables once people left. There's limited seating area available, so expect to have to takeout if you come during busier times.

Best vegan bakery in Amsterdam ♥️

Most amazing pasties and vegan sandwiches! 20 minutes wait on a Saturday at peak time but well worth the wait 10/10 ♥️

Heerlijk ontbijtje!

Now I get why people wait 30 minutes to get in

We went here because of the many recommendations on HappyCow and were first taken aback by the fact that there was a rather large queue outside. But we decided to stay and wait (~30 min) and it was absolutely worth it.
We had the pistachio cruffin, the seasonal cruffin, the pain au chocolat with hazelnut and almond filling and a chocolate babka accompanied by latte and hot chocolate.
Everything was absolutely delicious and we really loved it. It is definitely worth the wait.

Pros: The pistachio cruffin, Choice of oat or soy milk for drinks

Cons: You have to wait in line, It's rather pricy (but worth it!)

Pastry from heaven

The bakery serves the sweet pastries and across the street is the deli which has a wider section with savoury stuff too.

Pros: Everyone is so freaking delicious!

Nice but a little overrated

Considering the hype and the queue outside, I was a little disappointed. The pastries I had were SO oily. Nice but expected more :):)

Stunning pastries!

Their pistachio cruffin is to die for! Everything they sell is fully vegan, delicious and deserves 5 stars! You sometimes have to wait in line but it’s worth it!
